When executing any asphalt roofing project in Saanich, we rely on industry-leading installation techniques to guarantee maximum longevity. Our process begins with a meticulous tear-off, completely removing old materials to inspect the underlying wooden decking. We never cut corners by installing new shingles over old ones; instead, we ensure a solid, structurally sound foundation, replacing any rotted plywood before applying advanced waterproof underlayment to the vulnerable eaves and valleys.
During the shingle installation phase, our skilled technicians use precise nailing patterns specified by premium manufacturers. We utilize high-quality architectural asphalt shingles that offer superior wind resistance and dimensional stability. By properly overlapping shingles and carefully integrating drip edges and custom metal flashing around chimneys and vents, we create a truly watertight barrier that prevents even the most severe wind-driven rain from penetrating your home.
Finally, we prioritize optimal roof ventilation to extend the lifespan of your new asphalt shingles. We expertly install ridge vents and ensure your soffits are clear, allowing continuous airflow that prevents heat and moisture buildup in your attic. Combined with our strict post-installation cleanup—where no heavy ladders are leaned against your gutters—our techniques ensure a flawless, long-lasting roofing system.
We begin with a thorough property safety walk, perform meticulous tear-offs, and execute flawless new shingle installations. Finally, we conduct a rigorous ground cleanup and a final walkthrough to ensure your complete satisfaction.
